Just as brutal and gory as the other two books, but even better than the rest! I really loved the twists and mysteries in this book and the subtle references to the other books that this prequel had. Any fans of horror, mystery or a combo of both will find a perfect bookmate in this book and in the entirity of the series. Super fun read!

Okay this book was better than the second in the trilogy. The first book will still be my favorite. I was originally going to rate this 3 stars, but the ending bumped it up. WAS NOT EXPECTING IT!!!

I think that this was maybe my favorite in the series! I mean, a deadly escape room? Say no more! My order of enjoyment for the series goes: #Noescape, #Murdertrending, #Murderfunding.

Okay usually I’m not a fan of prequels but I quite enjoyed this. I did find some of the plot twists a bit predictable but they certainly didn’t detract from my enjoyment. The way things wrapped up storywise was a bit frustrating but overall I enjoyed this and how it wrapped into the storyline of the other novels.

Much like the other books in the series, this one is mind bending. Read with a friend so you have someone to debrief with!
