I love when Dana and Melissa write together because I know it's going to be dark and unhinged. Carving for Cara and Little Nightmare are proof of that. This book did leave on a little cliffhanger, and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book because there are so many questions running through my head. I feel like Asher and Sloan will be an intense couple but also dark in some ways. I don't think Asher will change who he is, but I wonder if Sloan will awaken something inside herself and join him.

Omg! We got Sloan’s story and it did not disappoint. Lost in a game of cat and mouse in a sweet little hideaway hallmark movie town during midnight mass with her proper and perfect pastors son, boyfriend Alex. a crazy plot twist and suspense up the wall. I couldn’t tear myself eyes away from the book. He gives her rules to their little game of hunt and if he catches her all three times a n d beats her to the church, the limit does not existttttt.

This was amazing! You get a twist right at the beginning of the story, and Dana and Melissa keep you hanging on until the very end. This was a very fun, very steamy game of cat and mouse that I would love to be apart of. And the "To be continued" at the end, I need more. ASAP! They definitely could have left it there, but knowing there will be more of Asher and Sloan makes me crave more.
I devoured this book and it was delicious. My favorite novella of the series. I loved the naivety of Sloan, the primal-ness of Asher, and who doesn’t love a good game of cat & mouse?! Book 2 of these characters can’t come quick enough. I’ll read anything these holiday novella queens publish.
