Adhara saw my tiny complaint of the second book and decided to fix it for me, lots of wolf lore/culture in this one, and the sharing really helps show the relationship development, no notes except I've just found out the library doesn't have #4 or #5 so that's upsetting.

If I could give this book a 4.95 I would. It was amazing and had so many great elements, I was smiling and laughing and it is def my fav in the series (so far). But, it was juuuust missing something that lost it that 0.05. Im not even sure what that thing was missing it just felt slightly off. Other than that, ASTOUNDING.

Once again I got a little lost with all the characters but I loved another "meet the family" trope without it feeling forced and honestly Im glad it wasnt going perfectly at first, the tension was perfect. Adhara is the GOAT of setting up unique situations that dont feel orchestrated.

Знову хороше продовження, і я всіма лапами вболіваю за героїв!
Переживала, що відгуки обіцяли слабшу детективну лінію, і вона правда не зносить дах, але й не мусить. На відміну від перших двох частин, де суть була схопити поганців на підставі службових обов'язків агентів підрозділу ФБР, в третій все скоріше пошук причин і наслідків багаторічних стосунків у великій родині, з якої походить один із головних героїв, це вже персональне. Що чудово дало заглибитись в тему перевертнів загалом, окреслити лор світу і зробити його персоналізованим. Не просто "ну то перевертні, що тут не ясно, ви все знаєте і так", а змістити установку про людське суспільство із прихованими купками вовків на вибудову паралельно існуючих рівноцінно складних суспільств. І до того ж розкрити показуючи, а не переказуючи флешбеками, минулі зв'язки та теперішню мотивацію героїв, звідки в головах саме такі таргани. Як то може не прив'язати до персонажів?
Залишилося всього дві книги, сумно. Вже обдумую варіант перечитування як обіцяно комфортне дозвілля, знання розгадок слідства в даному випадку взагалі не зіпсує процес.
