The setting and buildup in this atmospheric, paranormal story was really good, and I liked how complex and interesting the characters' relationships were. I lost the plot a bit when

the Ravens started rhythmically beating the house in unison.

I found it hard to suspend disbelief with the explanation for all the spooky stuff and was a bit let down. But overall a fun spooky read.
