I normally love Kinsella’s books but I couldn’t even finish Surprise me and this was difficult too get into to, Fixie was such a doormat! And her whole family was terrible and the book was so predictable, i was how much longer until is over.
The end was cute though.

I read this book fully expecting a generic romance and was beautifully surprised, this was fantastic in so many ways other than what I expected. Yes, a stunning romance but with so much more depth and side plots that I just loved.

Looking at the reviews, no one gets this book like I do. You don’t get it!!! Sophie Kinsella you will always write the most wonderfully complex and interesting female characters 😩❤️❤️

Cute and light. Could have been a bit shorter.

I thought this was well written. There was no "cringe", where the female does something stupid and has to atone. (ie. spent a lot of money, got caught in a compromising situation, accidently booked two wedding facilities..)

2.5 Stars, not my favorite. The characters were a bit annoying and I would have preferred it to be more about the main characters romance than the family problems.

The beginning of this book was hard to read, Fixie had no backbone at all. She did develop into a more confident character towards the end, but it was annoying at the start of her story!
