I loved this book. I devoured it. Sometimes you just need an uncomplicated rom-com with compelling characters!

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the ending was unexpected but made sense for a series. I'm still trying to figure out some of the characters and their intentions.

I didn’t love having SO many points of views but luckily have all 4 girls POV’s ended up working out pretty ok. I enjoyed this book well enough to pick up the second, but I’m defiantly hoping for more then this book offered. That being said I enjoy the drama, which this book as an intense amount of, and it’s defiantly worth giving a read if that’s your speed.

Such a fun book!

this book was incredible!! i’m a huge romance fan, and i LOVED the selection, so this blew my expectations away. i loved both of the princess’s points of view, and daphne pissed me off, as she should. the writing was great, and i have no idea how every single different kind of romance trope was able to fit in this book, but it happened. i closed the book and immediately wanted to pick it up and read it again. i can’t wait to read majesty!!

Fun and fluffy read that I thought I liked until I realized there was only 12 minutes left in the audiobook, with lots of things still unresolved. It didn’t even necessarily end on a cliffhanger... just an awkward ending that felt like it was missing a chapter. I’ll read the sequel in hopes to get some resolution.

More of a 2.5. I described this book as Gossip Girl with tiaras and I think that's pretty accurate. It's like a reality show on tv at 3 in the afternoon. You have no idea what's going on. You have no investment in the over-top drama. But you're still watching 10 hours later. I only kind of cared about Beatrice's story line and I loved Nina's characterization. Everything else kind of faded into the background. Will I be reading the sequel? Yes. Would I recommend this to anyone else? Probably not.

not my favorite. ending felt rushed. “pick me, choose me, love me” vibes the whole book.

I love this book, and on a reread it was still great, it just wasn’t the same, especially as I don’t think this book was meant for rereading.

A lot of the plot rides on the reader not knowing what’s happening, or being in anticipation. If you already know what happens… it’s actually pretty boring.

For a first read, awesome. Just make sure you read the entire series in one go so you don’t have to reread it
