Sooo not impressed with this book. After reading Twenties Girl I was convinced I would love all of Sophie Kinsella's book but this clearly proved me wrong. The book has a great message about how its never too late in life to find yourself and really do what makes you happy, however I wasnt at all impressed with the story. Nothing spectatcular happened, there weren't any spectatcular characters, or unexpected twists.
I've come to love Sophie because her characters always end up doing wacky things that i would NEVER do, thats what makes the books funny and interesting and this just didnt have that.
In short, it was O.K. I'd never recommend it and I probably wouldnt re-read it.

Cute super light read. Very formulaic, but every once in a while, it's just what I want.
Sophie Kinsella's books are always a fun read. Her British characters are the kind of girls I would want as friends: funny, caring, not pretentious. It's enjoyable to see what kind of sticky situations her heroines have gotten themselves into. And how they are going to get out of them.

This is actually more like 3 stars. The Story is super predictable and SO cringey the first third, that I thought I wouldn't get through it, what with all the secondhand embarrassment. But overall it's cute and funny enough, and the book gets extra sentimental points for being the first one I read after my M. A. degree.
Laugh out loud and just as I'd expect from one of my favourite authors.
A cute little book, my daughter saw on the shelf at the library. A enjoyed the reminder to look out the window and see the world.
A cute story if a little unrealistic & a little too predictable.
Sophie Kinsella is an absolute gem of a writer. The Undomestic Goddess was funny and sweet, and I enjoyed the characters a lot. The love story and personal growth were well balanced and overall this was a very light, fun read.
