Better than I thought it would be. Cute and enjoyable.

Always love Sophie Kinsella's books.

Her books just delight me - I hadn't read this one in probably 15 years and it was so fun to go revisit it.

This is my second Sophie Kinsella book. Like Remember Me? it was a fast, easy read (I read most of it over the course of one Sunday). Normally I don't like British novels, but Kinsella does a good job of making her stories relateable to non-British readers. I did find something was lacking in this novel though...I think I would have liked it better if some of the other characters were developed a bit more, or if Samantha was developed more. A really great novel to me is one where I feel like i know the characters after reading it and I'm not sure how well I know Samantha after spending 350+ pages with her.

The whole premise was pretty far-fetched but mostly a light-hearted story

The feeling of this book!!!!! I love this

This book was actually recommended to me by a close friend. She said I'd "love it." It's about a woman who has a complete meltdown and leaves her job as an ATTORNEY to become a HOUSEKEEPER. It was a morally debilitating read.

My go to author when i need a real giggle.... in times like this its very much needed, im now sending it onto my mum with her care package.....

Samantha really finds herself in a pickle when she is fired from her job at the prestigious Carter and Spink and finds herself in the role of housemaid with as much knowledge as a penguin has of flying....

Lots of laughs as she fumbles her way through each day... Brilliant!

Wanted to like this book, but after about 100 pages I got bored with it. Story kind of faded for me.

Super easy beach read. This book doesn't require much thought at all but it is a great and humorous chick-lit.
