I enjoyed this book but it gave me serious whiplash with the beauty and the beast/ Anastasia crossover. The crossover of the Anastasia was parts of the movies happened to the characters and I kinda got the beauty and the beast retelling. The ending was quite a surprise for me as far as the twist.

*insert GIF of Jennifer Lopez on American Idol standing to applaud*  IYKYK.  I thoroughly enjoyed this spiced-up Beauty and the Beast/Anastasia retelling.  Pacing fell off just for a bit in the middle, and I didn't notice the Anastasia nods as much as B&B, but I also don't know that tale as well, so that's on me.  This was WELL DONE.  I am a slore for a fairytale retelling and this has jumped right to the top of my list.  Loved it 🥰
