I wasn't going to write a review for this book because well I kind of hated it. Maybe not hate but it was so freaking boring. I almost stopped reading it so many times.

A lot of the problem I think was the narrator. I got the audiobook and she was just terrible. Other than that, nothing really happened in the book. The only part of it I liked was the last 5%. There was nothing special about the characters. They are both lonely? Who cares? Marcus was adorably awkward and I loved him.. but the story was boring. I think if Honoria were more exciting, maybe it would have been better? I don't know.

I was going to rate this 1 star until the ending. Almost every historical romance I read had cheesy endings. Hell most romances I read have cheesy endings. But I think this one ended perfectly. It was a beautiful ending.

Again, Julia Quinn is perfection. 10/10.

4.5 stars rounded up.

Not groundbreaking, but this was cute and funny. I needed a low angst, feel good book, and Julia Quinn gave me exactly what I wanted.

*sigh* So glad to be in Julia Quinn's word again. Especially for the Smythe-Smiths clan. I have always wondered about those poor non-musically inclined girls. Now I get to read about them.

I really enjoyed Just Like Heaven. It was funny and romantic. The hubs kept asking what I was reading when I would start giggling. There were times when I was ready to move on and see what happened next. I got lost in some of the girls bickering but it wasn't enough to lessen my enjoyment.

I can't wait for the next book. An definitely ready for it right this second.

It's a cute romance, but not a lot happens in this one. But maybe I've just been reading a lot of historical romances lately.
