I loved this series and I'm sad it's over. The finale was really great, everything I could have hoped for. It was just the right amount of bittersweet, while still adding a big dose of Aru Shah humor. I felt very proud of her as a main character, thinking of how much she had grown throughout this series.

Definitely keeping an eye out for future releases by this author.

An exceptionally stellar ending to a series!!! I was nearly in tears during the last few chapters and the moral of the story: all we can do is our best as we stay true to ourselves in a fraught world. All we can do is try.

I received this as an audio - and I am not disappointed. I really love anything Rosh writes. She is such a great world builder and her characters are always memorable. I love the fact that everyone really grew into themselves in this book - no matter what the cost was. I also love the banter and references thrown in. This was such a great ending to this series - everything wasn't all sunshine and roses, which is realistic. Anyway, I'm always going to recommend anything she writes - she's one of my top 5.

5th Best Book of 2022!

LOVED, LOVED, loved this series - 5*

I've kept my reviews for the previous books in the Pandava series because I was DESPERATE to get to the next one in the series and had no time to write a measly review. Now, I've finished this series and I feel EMPTY. Thank god I came to this series and did not come late. Otherwise, I'd have DIED. D...I...E..D. I was in the mindset that I needed to read one book after the other. The only reason I couldn't - some adult responsibilities AND sleep (even though at some points of reading this series, I was like SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK!)

Anyway, I adored this series. I adore Aru Shah. I learned about Hinduism in secondary school and was inspired by a particular school project and later, a friend who joined the school. SO I'm not ignorant about Hinduism but I feel like I missed out on the beauty of this religion. Chokshi is a practising Hindu so I never worry if it's being rude or disrespectful. Her letters at the beginning of the stories - and in particular this one - are an ode to that.

I knew I'd love this series because it is a Rick Riordan Presents and the Percy Jackson series ([b:The Lightning Thief|28187|The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1)|Rick Riordan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1400602609l/28187._SY75_.jpg|3346751] ) had a MASSIVE impact on my life. This book echoes the structure and the voice is similar. If you loved Percy Jackson, then you'll definitely want to read this.

Finally, I want to dedicate this review to Aru and Aiden BECAUSE THANK YOU, GOD. I genuinely thought it wasn't going to happen and yes, this book was predictable at certain points, especially with the romance BUT I don't care. My favourite part of the story is a tiny moment but it reveals all. It's in the last chapter
Spoiler when Aiden pulls Aru's chair closer to him because she's too far away. I mean. I died. A small gesture that means SO much. I don't need the PDA but I DO need small gestures, which means the entire world.

I'm now back in a book slump because this series was INCREDIBLE and now it's over. I was also supposed to be saving this series for holiday but my god that did NOT happen.

The Pandava Quintet has been one of my favorite series since Aru Shah and the End of Time came out back in 2018. I have been so excited while waiting for all the other books to come out along with a countdown, and they never seem to disappoint! The series is amazing and this book is no exception. Roshani Chokshi is such a good writer, so of course, this book managed to pull me right in. I had pre-ordered this book and started reading as soon as I got it, and it was so good that I finished it in one sitting.

The entire storyline was so exciting with so many twists and turns that nobody could predict. There were many good moments with the Potatoes where we can see them grow even more, and the entire story was beautifully written. Of course it follows the Potatoes and their journey to get to the Nectar of Immortality, as the title implies, but there is also so much more happening between the characters. I won't say much because I know I will end up spoiling it, but Mini and Rudy were amazing, and the interactions between Aru and Aiden had me going through so many emotions, and I just love all of the Potatoes. The scenes we got to see with Kara added so much to the story as well. It was exciting to see characters I knew from Hindu Mythology before being introduced in this book and contribute to the plot.

Though it was clear how serious this was, Roshani Chokshi inserts so many fun moments into this book, and I loved everything she did, especially for Rudy Rocks during the rock concert. It was such a fun twist! The Halls of Nidra and most of what happens afterwards had a completely different feel than the beginning, however, but it was still so well written and only made me love and appreciate the characters even more.

The ending of this story couldn't have been better, but it was still bittersweet since there are no more Aru Shah books that continue the story to create a countdown for, though it is true that we do get graphic novels! I have never been big on reading graphic novels, but I know these will be sitting on my shelf as soon as I can get my hands on them! There is no way I can express how much I adore these books through words, but they are so much more than just middle grade novels. This story comes alive and brings you into a whole new world that you can't help but love. If you read it and have loved the other Aru Shah books, I can guarantee you will love this story as much as I do!

New update: After my millionth time rereading this, I still don’t know how one book makes me want to almost cry during one chapter, and then leaves me smiling my face off in the next. It leaves such a bittersweet feeling to know that this series is over, and there is no new book to look forward to, especially since I’ve been here since the very first one. I can’t even express how much I love the series, and I know I’ll be picking it up again really soon!
