I liked how this one wrapped up! The ending tied together the thematic elements of the series in a way that I didn’t anticipate but really liked.

I would have liked to see more of the twins, but I get that this series is actually more about Aru and the Potatoes than it is about Aru and the Pandava Sisters. The twins still did get good scenes and an important role in the story

A piece of the romantic subplot was a bit… dramatic? Idk. It felt a little unnecessary, and then the drama of it sort of got undermined, which made it feel even more unnecessary.

But overall I really enjoyed the end of the series and am sad not to see more of these characters. This is the series I wanted when I was a preteen and I’m so happy to get to experience it, even as an adult

I’m sad the series is over, but so pleased with it as a whole. I am sure that I will miss Aru very soon, good thing there is a graphic novel as adaptation of the first book!

I love the characters in this series and overall I really enjoyed the series (my kids LOVED it) however I thought the last two books did not shine like the first 3. I wish this had been a trilogy instead a 5 book series.
