I was really disappointed in this sequel. I had been waiting eagerly for it to come out because I really enjoyed the first book. But this one was too bogged down in the backstory and it got tedious and confusing to me. I finished it because I wanted to give it all the chances, but I was underwhelmed and confused by the end.

This was the perfect sequel + ending to the series. Every progression made in this book made sense and flowed well with what we learned in the first book
