There were a couple of major icks for me—real children, and the MAOA gene. But otherwise it was fine.

Wow. Just wow.

Warning: Definitely a lot of discussion and heartache with regard to infertility and miscarriages. This book takes you on a wild ride though.

Booo, hisss. If I never read another book about infertility where the main character miraculously gets pregnant at the end, it will be too soon. Shame on this author. She also seems weirdly intent on pushing the big dairy agenda… making the kids drink glasses of milk 😫 I thought we were done with that in the 90s.

Not a single character had a single moment of like-ability in this book. I found myself rooting for the murderer to kill them all.
