I'm not sure how to feel about this. It was very interesting, but also dragged a lot until the ending, and that didn't make a whole lot of sense.

The Ministry of Time - Kaliane Bradley

This book was gifted to me by my fiancé who had read and annotated it for me. It was such a thoughtful gift and I loved getting to hear his thoughts through the story.

As for the story itself, it was just okay. Ministry of Time is a witty and creative sci-fi romance. At the start it is very heavily character driven, but there was an abrupt shift at about the 2/3 mark where all of a sudden a LOT of plot happened. Normally I love a plot driven story, but in this instance thingd felt rushed and a bit like an after thought.

I still loved the characters though and do think it was a creative take on a time travel tale. I only wish the plot was there to match.
