This is the perfect conclusion to this addicting series! I loved every second of it. I laughed, cried, swooned and cheered! You won't be disappointed!
The Catch is the second book in The Player series by the fantastic K. Bromberg. This series is full of baseball, fun, foreplay, sexiness, humor, family, friendship and loss. In true Bromberg fashion, she left us hanging at the end of The Player, but as always, we didn't have to wait too long and it was more than worth the wait. The Catch picks up exactly where The Player left off. Easton in shock at the news. Scout not knowing if she made the right decision. Easton's career hangs in the balance and he's lost. He doesn't know who to trust. Who to talk to or what to do. But, he knows that he loves Scout and his heart is broken. Scout needs to talk to Easton. She needs to explain why she did what she did. She had a really good reason. Can Easton forgive Scout? Will they be able to move past this and find their happily ever after? There are so many spoilers and goodness in this book, that this might be one of the hardest reviews I've ever written. Just trust me. You want to read this book. You need to read this book. The conclusion is perfection! Easton is everything you remember and more. He might be the perfect man. Dedicated, smart, loyal, talented, sexy and caring. Scout has learned so much about herself and her inner strength. She finally knows what she wants and she's going to get it. Overall, this is a story about finding your way. Learning that taking the risk is the only way to get the reward. Letting love into your heart can make all the difference. And knowing what you want your life to look like in the years to come. Decisions have to be made, secrets have to come out and forgiveness has to be given. That's the only way to love yourself and let yourself be loved.
"I’ve never met anyone like you, Scout. You challenge me. You make me laugh. You encourage me. But more than anything you get me."

4 The Player Stars
Ahh I do love a K. Bromberg book. But I gotta say… A cliffy really.. .I hateeee cliffys’, I always wait for the next book to come out before I read a book with a cliff-hanger it’s just how I am..
Thought I can’t be mad, this was a great book.
Easton isn’t just a jock trying to get his rocks off. It actually had some depth and I liked getting to know him.
You see his heart when he wants you to see it. If he doesn’t then you get The Player.
Scout, Oh Scout. This girl has a lot on her shoulders and she can’t talk about it or she wouldn’t. You really want to help her out but how. She has a lot to work through. I kinda love the relationship Easton and she have from the very beginning.
It was friends with that underlying heat. I loved that. I loved how it was constant through the whole book.
It’s a fantastic story and even though I bitched about the cliffy. Still glad I read it!
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Packed with heat and intensity and laughter and suspense. The Player was a sweet and saucy. I loved Easton’s humor and passion. Scout’s constant “should I? Shouldn’t I?” was endearing and heartfelt. It was wonderful reading their story unfold. Being there as they shifted and became something more.
The Catch ⚾️
The conclusion to the duet of Easton and Scout had me glued to the pages. So many twists popped up in this second book and had me hooked, needing to know what would happen next.
I loved Easton and Scout. Fantastic chemistry and moments that make your heart soar.
Clear mind, full heart 🖤

Let me tell you something about this author, she really knows how to get you with a cliffhanger! I had assumed, yeah-yeah, I know what assuming does, that this was going to be a series where each book was about a different player on the team. Just so you know, I was wrong. The way this ended, GAH! The narrators were some of my favorites, Andi Arndt and Joe Arden. I had to stop in the middle to listen to another audiobook by the author that I was supposed to review by a certain date. But when I started listening to this again I was hooked right back in. Not to mention I'm still a little unsure about Santiago. I thought maybe one thing was going to happen, but then at the end there was a whole twist that I did NOT see coming. And wow was it a good one. Of course I had already used my February credit on the Meghan March audiobook I'm listening to currently, so I had to wait for my March credit to get the sequel to this one. Which I cannot wait to get started on and find out what is going to happen!
I need to know why K. Bromberg hates me. That cliffhanger!! I need the next book NOW!!

Amazingly perfect.. what a great player!!
I loved this duet!! The beginning was hysterical and the ending was bittersweet. It was a well written and well rounded story that had my heart swooning at every turn. I'm glad I waited for The Catch to come out before I read The Player because I didn't have to wait to see what happened but I still would like a little more Wylder!

OMG I loved this book, the chemistry between Easton and Scout was electric, it was very detailed and a joy to read. Once again I started reading the book, but didnt have much time so got the audio book and it brought it all alive, listening to them made it feel more real, i highly recommend the audio book. I was shouting at it at the end when left with that cliffhanger, but fortunately havent got to wail long for The Catch.
Oh my gosh! I am in love with Easton and Scout! I love how their stories blend so well. How he can't help but fall in love with her, and she is trying so hard to trust! I can't for the ending!
I loved this series! I laughed and cried. Always a great author to read!
