I wasn’t thrilled with the way he took out his frustrations on her over and over.

I wish I had realized this was a duet.

I enjoyed it but spent a bunch of time wondering why my questions weren’t being answered. This is on me.

Anyway! I’m confused on what exactly happened at the end but I’ll read the next book to find out.

This is definitely looking to be like the start of another amazing series from K. Bromberg. First of all.
I love me a sports romance. Baseball is my favorite sport, so as soon I as I heard about this book, I knew I was going to be reading this story. I'm so glad I did.

I loved the characters in this story. Easton is alpha and cocky and knows what he wants. Scout is fun and feisty and the perfect complement to Easton. They have some serious chemistry. As with any K. Bromberg book, all the feels are there.

You will experience every high and every low that the character experiences. I won't go into storyline, because you need to read it on your own, I will just say that this is such a sweet, fun, angsty, sexy story (yes all of the above) and you will definitely need to pick this one up!

I have been dying for this book ever since I finished The Player. K. Bromberg had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happens next. I definitely was not disappointed.

You are immediately thrust back into the world of Easton and Scout and you will not be able to catch your breath until you finish. The emotions are high. The characters are even more developed and will make you love them even more and the writing is absolutely amazing as always.

K. Bromberg always leaves me with a book hangover and this was no different. I would so love to read more in this world and I cannot wait to see what K. brings us next!

The Player completely took me by surprise. It was even better than what I was expecting. While the sexy cover prepared me for something sexy and steamy, I got so much more in this story. I got EASTON WYLDER! This man totally stole my heart with his thoughtfulness and sweetness. He’s so not was you would expect a big star baseball player to be. He’s down to earth with a heart of gold and he proves it time and time again in The Player.

Scout is the PT hired by the Aces to bring Easton back to the game after an injury. From their first meeting, there’s a tangible pull between them. I truly loved the relationship between them so much. Their chemistry is intense and the flirty banters are compelling. This magnetic attraction brings us to combustible and steamy scenes also full of feels.

But most of all, this book is also about fears and high expectations placed on both of them. Scout wants to realized her father’s last wish of becoming the official team PT for the Aces and Easton seems to make everything to please his father, an ex all-star player who’s very demanding. With the fears of her past on her shoulders, Scout is really insecure about her future making her reticent to engage with Easton on a personal level. But Easton being the sweet and irresistible man he is, tries to make her realize that what they have is meaningful.

I was really impress with this story. K. Bromberg really hit a home run with The Player. With this cliffhanger ending, I’m now just so anxious about The Catch.

I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on Scout and Easton’s conclusion after the way The Player ended. One of my most anticipated summer reads ended up being so much more than what I was expecting. The Catch is more than a sports romance. It’s all about the feelings it creates for the readers and let’s just say that I felt a lot.

In this sequel, Scout as well as Easton have complications happening in their lives that are affecting their relationship. One thing is always unquestionable through it all, their love! Yes, sometimes it’s hard, but more than ever we see them fight to preserve their love.

This time again, Easton completely stole my heart with his attractive qualities. He bares his soul and exposes himself like never before and I just fell in love even more with him for all that. There’s multiple startling revelations in The Catch that added to the already difficult situations and decisions this couple deals with, but it only makes them stronger. Scout is still in the shadow of her dad’s expectations and needs to decide what’s more important for her with her dad’s motto “clear mind, hard heart” constantly haunting her. Loved seeing her dedication and strength through these moments as well as her compassion for Easton’s struggles. They both complete each other so well, it’s absolutely stunning to witness this kind of commitment.

The Catch is so much more than a love story! It’s all about the hurdles of life and making hard decision about the future that can by scary at time. It’s about fighting our deepest fears in hope they’ll disappear. It’s discovering that love can lift you up in your hardest moments. It’s about life! Easton and Scout have a significant relationship, but it’s not about the sexy moments. It’s deeper, heartfelt and intense. I felt so much while reading it! I cried with these characters, I smiled with them, I laughed with them and eventually I lived with them and learned with them.

K. Bromberg couldn’t have completed The Player duet in a better way. Everything was there to make it a must read and leave an imprint on my heart!

Bored

I wish I had known before I started reading this that there is a second book. I was not ready for the cliffhanger and now I'm really pissed at myself for not reading more about this book. I hate cliffhangers. I hate that the story just couldn't be told in one great book. 😡 UGH! This just m and about 300 pages of unnecessary drama. I really like this story. The whole time I'm reading this book I'm thinking to myself that it's flowing so well. I really hope book two delivers but from past experience I know it might be adequate at best.

The Player

Easton and Scout start with the same goal. Get Easton’s shoulder rehabbed to get him off the DL. Scout has another goal, too…get a long term contract with the team.

Pretty quickly, the attraction grows, then explodes, between Scout and Easton. It’s when they are at the finish line that things get really crazy.

The Player ends on a crazy cliffhanger! Highly recommend this book!
