I am a Halsey music fan and LOVE the book cover and title, but her poetry collection didn't do it for me. The "poetry" was sloppy and felt like it was a rough draft. I felt lots of angst coming from the words that I just didn't relate to. Other words I would use to describe the collection are rough, edgy, raw, undeveloped. Every time I picked it up, I wanted something to grab me, to connect with me, but it did not speak to this 50-year old woman which could be part of the problem.

Incredible poetry spoken from an incredible poet. Halsey speaks from the heart in every word. And the audiobook version just brings it all to life.

Són poemes molt personals que et fan posar en la pell de la Halsey i sentir les seves emocions com si fossin teves. Tria les paraules molt bé i, amb poc, transmet molt. Els poemes tenen una força increïble que no et deixen indiferent. Hi pots trobar amor, erotisme i aspectes molt crus de la nostra realitat, sense deixar de banda aspectes feministes. M'ha encantat i el recomano enormement encara que no la seguiu com a cantant.
j'étais si heureuse d'avoir ce bébé entre mes mains. Halsey étant mon artiste fav, je me devais de lire son recueil. je suis pas experte en poésie, mais je dois dire que j'ai adoré la plus part des poèmes, je pense juste ne pas avoir compris toutes les subtilités de certains parce qu'elle utilise énormément de métaphores. Elle évoque des sujets variés et profond qui font échos à sa vie, son histoire…
