How crazy was this to start off in one direction only to completely turn another direction? Watson was a complete gentlemen to hold off his pursuit of Mary due to her potentially good fortune although he admitted he wasn't happy about it. Yet what would he look like if he did pursue her after learning her story? He most certainly would look like a fortune hunter. Now I know what everyone is talking about when it comes to the 7 percent solution. I feel so bad for Holmes that his mind so quickly turned to the drug so soon after solving a case. It couldn't have been more than a day. To have a brain that active would be a curse and a blessing.
