Very much a fluff book imo, but it still brought me some joy. Unsure how to rate.

Made me giggle and the premise was very interesting, though the execution was of course extremely corny, especially given the characters in the final haunting.

Enjoyed that it was set in Edinburgh but it felt as though it was written more for Americans who want to read about Scotland than it was for a Scottish audience. Oh well.

Book was chosen for me by Stewart McGown. Thanks Stewart McGown.

A very light read, finished in 2 days. The cat's voice was very human. Felt a bit "picture on a shortbread tin" Scottish at times, the kind of book that uses the words "men" and "girls" and wouldn't understand why that was an issue. But an easy light read and lots of Edinburgh in it.

An odd book - didn’t dislike it per se but it was a struggle to read.

I wanted to like this more than I did. The premise was a lot of fun - a cat traveling through time, witnessing the changes of a random group of humans who just happen to live in the cat's house. As much as I enjoyed the glimpses into different time periods, it ultimately fell flat for me.
