I was so intimidated by this series and was putting off starting it for so long, but oh my GOSH this is an insane 5 star read!! Like I shed literal tears, laughed so loud, felt so pained and in love along with Shan and Johnny and I literally live breathe and bleed them rn. Like I crave them and their story and their relationship and their love to a whole nother level.
There are no words for the love I have for this book and these characters. It was achingly beautiful and heartbreaking in so many ways. Shannon and her siblings deserve all the love and happiness, especially after that cliffhanger. Johnny is the sweetest and kindest soul, what every guy should strive to be, an animal lover, a protector, and so full of heart. I need book 2 immediately to see that everything will end up okay for Johnny and Shannon.
