Good luck surviving this book's confusing narrative, hyper-soaked with references to other things but dried out of something worth staying for.

The premise of this book was hilarious and perfect, but the abstract writing style made it tough to get through. Ultimately, I did not finish it. I would have preferred a traditional narrative writing style--a lot of characters to keep track of, scenes that quickly moved between one another, etc made it difficult to track the actual story. However, it's the writing is clever and quite funny.
