At least this book wasn’t I repeat of the previous two. Makes sense since this is the conclusion. It’s so sad how all characters had such realizations at the very end. Makes me unlike them slightly less but I guess it’s a little too late. It’s sad that my favorite character was the computer that was a murder who framed a somewhat innocent person.

This series has been such a guilty pleasure. No, it is not a masterful piece of literature, but it is an entertaining read full of drama, love, and a few murder mysteries.
The Towering Sky picks up where book 2 left off, but the decidedly bland story took off again. I said in my previous review that book 2 suffered from middle book syndrome, and I was so right. I had actually forgotten how mediocre it was until I looked throught my review. Honestly if I had gone over it before buy The Towering Sky I may not have read it. Luckily for me I forgot all about it and went in expecting the love I felt for The Thousandth Floor, and I wasn't disappointed!
We get more Atlas and Avery drama (yeah I know it's taboo and gross if you think about it too much, but the tension was divine!), more Leda character development, more Nadia (I loved Nadia!!!), more of Rylin's love triangle, and more Watt. The only loose thread was really Calliope, she was super useless and added nothing to the story.
So if you're looking for a guilty pleasure with some awesomely cool world building, give this series a go! Though disclaimed - there is a taboo relationship which loads of people have issues with. Just go with it people, it's fiction!
Age: 14+ high adult crossover
Warnings: sex, but nothing explicit, and some death.

La cantidad de plot twists tho... Es el que más me ha gustado de la trilogía
Really??? What bullshit! How did the conversation go from "Calliope, you snuck out to see a boy, not to volunteer at a hospital!" to "My wife is a lying gold digger! Get Out!"???? And why did she need to "behave" once they were married anyway? Her acting out could have just been attributed to her being a teenager. It wouldn't have drawn suspicion to her mother at all. Not to mention that their whole story had no connection on the rest of the book, except for her to give brief runaway tips to Avery which led to her escape.
After three years, I have finally finished this series. And that makes me really happy, because I was so hyped to finish it, but never got around to read this book somehow?
Luckily, the ending didn't disappoint me. Yes, it wasn't the best conclusion of all time, and it focused a bit too much on some characters and left others out... But overall, I can accept this book as the last time I get to visit the tower in New York.
Since book 1, secrets have been piling up. And here, most of them finally got out. That led to some... unexpected changes and events. But in the end I feel like everybody got their happy ever after. Or is at least on the way for it.
I believe Brice and Calliope had more potential, but this book focuses more on Avery, Leda, Watt and Nadia. Because they have the biggest secrets, obviously. But yeah, I missed reading more about Brice and Calliope.
The style in all of the books is very young, and nice to read. As everybody else is already saying: still major Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars vibes. I even started watching Gossip Girl again after finishing this book yesterday.
Overall an enjoyable read and a good conclusion to The Thousandth Floor series. Good, but not amazing.
