As with any collection of short stories, some are better than others, but all are enjoyable, especially if you are already a fan of Terry Pratchett. I highly recommend the audiobook as there is a most excellent assortment of narrators.

Liked a lot of the stories. Strange to have a repeat from Dragons of Crumbling Castle...and not a big fan of the final story...but still a fun read.

This set of stories is valuable because it appeared after all the wild and wonderful work produced by Pratchett during his career. As a fan who has read discworld until the pages fell out with wear, I don’t think this set of stories would have convinced me to keep reading Pratchett if I’d read them first. It’s lovely to read the origins of some of his great ideas but at this point in his career he was not yet the brilliant, witty satirist.
