Classic Terry Pratchett nonsense. I particularly enjoyed Mr Browns Holiday Accident and the Quest for the Keys.

As a collection of short stories this one is almost perfect: they are different enough to keep things interesting, but they all share Pratchett's signature humor and quirkiness. Not as sharp as some of his later works, but thoroughly enjoyable.

This is a group of Sir Terry’s serial short stories prior to Discworld, and although they aren’t quite the polished gems of Discworld, you can undeniably see his unique style of writing through it. I also really loved the bits where you could see ideas that would eventually be further developed as concepts in the Discworld series.  I got a kind of nostalgic feeling through it, kind of like when you see photos of your grandparents before you were born, and you recognise faces you’ve never seen in that form before. Well worth a read if you’re a Pratchett fan.

Cute.

amazing collection! there is this one called "Mr. Brown's Holiday Accident" that I honestly have not been able to get out of my head! it like if Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy met The Truman Show. and of course, I loved seeing an early version of The Color of Magic in "The Quest for the Keys", it was so fun that the satire on the witch living in a candy house was able to survive to make it into Discworld. And obviously, all the Blackburry stories were charming as ever. 10/10
