I read nearly every Discworld novel as a teen. I remember spending long summers with them, sitting on the balcony reading, and just dying from laughter. Since then, Sir Terry Pratchett is a grand master to me - of wit, humor and originality.
So, when I discovered that a collection of his earlier stories have been unearthed, I of course had to read them. Now to be completely honest, not all the stories were that great. Some were a little dull and some utterly forgettable. You can clearly tell that this is a young person still working on their writing and finding their voice. BUT they were all quintessentially British, quite silly, and very charming. Like the story about Santa Claus quitting his job and then being hired to be a mall Santa. Or a steam engine that becomes sentient. Or! The very last story of the collection that's no doubt proto-Discworld and gave me all the feels.
I would only recommend this collection to a Pratchett fan though, everyone else should go and read Discworld first.

Cute bedtime reading! The stories aren't mind-blowing but they're easy fun reads, and a sweet demonstration of commitment from some clever fans.
I enjoyed the Christmas stories but I wasn't gripped enough to read it immediately. It was enjoyable for sure
Listened to this on audiobook and it was a real treat, great readers , wonderful stories .
