If you want a quick, fun YA heist with a romance plot and a little bit of found family, then Heiress Takes All is the book for you! Ex-heiress, Olivia plans a heist during her dad's upcoming marriage to Maureen, who will be his third wife. Fueled by her want for revenge, she assembles a team to help pull off this complex scheme to steal her dad's bank account information. While it may seem like just a straightforward revenge plot, her inner monologue reveals her inner struggle as she balances her connection between both parents, the guilt for revealing her dad's cheating which led to the divorce and disownment, and the trust and care she develops for her heist crew. I do feel like there might have been a few too many twists thrown in or at least too many uses of the trope where "someone enters the room at an inopportune time." (The final twist regarding a relationship reveal worked for me. I wouldn't change that.) While this might not speak to me as much now, I will say that teenage me who loved the Ally Carter Gallagher Girls Series would have eaten this up! (pun intended with the cake on the cover haha.)

Probably around 3.5/5 stars. A solid read and I'd entertain a sequel if there was one but not one I'll reread.

I also loved the romance that developed in the backround of this story and it is def one of my favorite troups. Olivia Owens has planned the perfect heist. She and her crew will steal millions from her father as he celebrates his marriage to wife number 3. Will Olivia finally get revenge on the father who snubbed her, or will unexpected twists ruin everything?

When I saw this being compared to Inheritance Games and Ocean's Eleven, I immediately wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, this was just not that interesting. Despite being kicked out and facing money hardship, Olivia was still just a spoiled brat who acted like she was a hero for wanting to steal from her father. Yes, he sucked, but it didn't justify what she did. The authors tried to go for a found family dynamic with her accomplices, but I never really cared about any of them. I do think the twist at the end was kind of interesting, but itwastoolittletoolateat that point. Teens will probably love this one, but I'll probably forget about it in a few days.

Thank you Netgalley and Little, Brown Books for Young Readers for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Get ready for a whirlwind adventure with 'Heiress Takes All'! This YA mystery/thriller is an absolute delight from start to finish. From the very first chapter, I was completely swept away as our brave protagonist dashes through a sprawling mansion, evading guards and navigating unexpected twists at every turn.

But hold onto your hats, because there's more! Through a cleverly crafted flashback, we uncover the daring master plan—a heist worth millions, devised to outsmart her dastardly father. And who better to aid in this audacious escapade than a motley crew of misfits, each bringing their own unique talents to the table?

And let's not forget the sparks flying in the romance department! There's undeniable chemistry with the ex, adding an extra layer of excitement to the already exhilarating storyline. Throw in some juicy family drama, surprising plot twists, and non-stop action, and you've got yourself a recipe for an unforgettable read.

'Heiress Takes All' is a breath of fresh air, offering a perfect blend of humor, adventure, and heart. My heartfelt thanks to Emily Wibberley, Austin Siegemund-Broka,Hachette Book Group Canada for granting me early access to this sensational journey!

I wanted to like this book. I did. I love Emily and Austin as romance writers. But, maybe that is their genre: romance. This mystery sort of thing just didn't work for me. I think I went in expecting a Frieda McFadden, dark and twisty story, but that wasn't what this was. I understood the concept but didn't necessarily get why.

This was such a fun read. You do have to suspend some disbelief that a bunch of high school kids could hack a billionaire. Just go with it! The intensity of the heist kept me turning the page, and the opulence of the setting was fun and extravagant. The roadblocks throughout the way were pretty comical I never saw the plot twist at the end coming. I enjoyed the family drama and the secondary characters. The reason this didn't pass 4 stars for me is that I felt like it was a little long for the plot.

Thanks to the publisher for the ARC in return for an honest review. This book releases 6/4!
