The Chimp Paradox taught me a lot of things I already knew, and at times often felt contrived. I did appreciate the 'Slate of Truth' concept.

Picked on a whim from the library. Was it good? Would I recommend it? Not really. I can see it as an enjoyable, useful read for the older demographic, but if you're the least bit aware of how the mind works it's kinda just... silly. Especially the parts where the metaphor falls the apart, or how all of it is wrapped up in this solar system framework that is really at-odds with the whole 'chimp' thing.
Just don’t feel like I need something like this right now.

Worth a reread, maybe in an actual book format where the excercises and key points are easier to follow

A very intriguing book for those who want to learn more about how their brain functions, as well as how to control it. Everything is presented understandably, and I felt that the book had a nice flow to it. Highly recommend!
