Hay que tener estomago para leerlo completo, no creo que sea una novela para todos aunque llegado a este punto ya deberían haberse iniciado en este tipo de libros, me gusto y disgusto al mismo tiempo, le doy 4,5 y un aplauso a la escritora.

while the blurb for this book really intrigued me, the writing style was just too unpleasant to get through in order to actually delve into the story. with hardly any paragraph breaks and never-ending sentences that have upwards of 15 commas, tacking on clause after clause, it felt like there was no point where the reader could take a metaphorical breather. i really wanted to like this, and maybe it reads better in spanish, but i simply couldn’t get through the chunky, overwhelming writing style

What the hellie this book is intense. The violence of drug use, abuse, rape, homophobia, misogyny,... in the storyline is embedded into the language itself (slurs are used left and right) and the form (the whole story is basically 1 sentence/paragraph). Felt like one long agressive ramble. 5 stars for originality: I'm very impressed

Una forma de escribir MARAVILLOSA. Es imposible dejar de leerlo y crea todo un universo doloroso pero profundamente honesto. Es brutal. Como un Blue Velvet de David Lynch pero mexicano y más real.
