This was not what I was expecting. I thought this would be grimdark and gory. It was so lighthearted and quirky. Definitely found myself giggling and looking forward to listening. Didn’t really feel too invested in the story though. Think that was a me issue

I knew a short while in that this was going to be 5 stars for me and it didn’t let me down. This book is laugh out loud funny while still maintaining it’s serious and epic fantasy vibe. I loved every bit of this and it’s going down as one of my all time favorite fantasy novels.
