whoa Nelly. We gots us a winner here.
This book was totally pheefreakingnominal. I totally loved this tale.
I dont had out five star ratings unless your name is Jim Butcher or Michael Sullivan.
This one grabbed me and would not let go.
The mains are totally great. Clay Cooper quickly became my favourite. The action is non-stop.
The humour was great. Several times i laughed out load. Got some very strange looks from those around me. It rivals that of Hadrian and Royce from the Michael Sullivan books. And if you have ever read one of my reviews you will know how highly i rate Hadrian and Royce. (look those up if you need a really good read).
I await the next book in the series with great anticipation. Though i think it will be hard to capture this level again. Especially as i have read that the rest of the books in the series are of different characters.
For a first book i applaud Mr. Eames. A good Canadian boy. I will definitely be reading his next offerings. Way to go, Eh!

Really heartwarming and charming. Funny and witty and fun. It was a very enjoyable read / actually listen since I did the audio…my only comment would be that 18 hours felt quite long for what the story is….the end felt rushed - but I understand it was meant to be about the journey not the accomplishment itself.
