Oh this is annoying!
Why?
Because this book should have been everything I love, dark, depraved, twisted etc but it fell short.
Yes it began well and I was invested in Viola’s story but then she gets a new assignment and that’s where things started to drift for me. It sort of lost the dark edginess it promised at the beginning, in a sea of teen drama. Yeah, I get that there’s more to this story than that, mobs etc but it was the bitchy drama that killed this for me.
I don’t know maybe it improves in the next book or maybe it just wasn’t the book for me which is a shame because I do love a strong leading lady with a black heart

This is so unlike any other books that I read that fits in this category. It's full of a lot of secrets deceit lies a secret organization I guess And you're probably gonna be left confused. Its really good though. Hopefully we figure out exactly what's going on soon.

Okay it was a lot harder to read this knowing I have to wait for the rest because we got the guts this time. The anthology story was such a tease and the full version has me ravenous for more!
Lorcan is still number 1, but I'm still super intrigued by Dante. Like, he's the wild card. We got more of the back story and we see how depraved the world these kids have been pulled into is. I'm excited to see how the RH develops as we didn't get much of it with book one. August could not come sooner!

I am a fan of viola she definitely is one tough and a little unhinged cookie. The opening scene gripped me and had my attention until the end of this audiobook. She goes disguised back to school to snuff out one of the boys but that’s where things get sticky. This book was a trip and had some nice twists. The narrators did a nice job with this book they definitely breathed life into each character. The way the changed between characters was amazing .
