Great book too many names!

This book was good. I would definitely read more if a second one came out. But the names!! It killed me with all the names. Not only are people called by their first names, but then they are called by their last names, and then to add to the confusion they all have nicknames. I think I spent a good majority of this book just trying to remember who was who. Other than that, it was a good read.

Great Dark Romance

I have noidea why this book has sat in my KU for months unread.I’m so mad I didn’t read it sooner it’s so good the twists and turns had me second guessing myself. I’m still not sure who the bad guys are for sure so I’m off to read book 2 now.

This book is definitely dark, it has loads of triggers. So bare that in mind.
I loved Viola's character. Her need for violence, gore, and her stoic nature. But when she meets her match in Lorcan, Dino, and Jude mannnnn does the tension heat up. The boys and their secrets had me on the edge of my seat, rooting for Viola to figure out the mystery surrounding her case.

I think this book sets up book two nicely. However, book one wraps up pretty neatly, so it could be read as a standalone.
I can't wait to find out what Viola's plan is for the boys in book two. That's going to go over swimmingly.

Thank you TalkNerdy2MePR and Mallory Fox for an advanced copy of A History of Violence. This review is being left voluntarily. All opinions are my own.

Viola is a bad-a female heroine. She’s a hit for hire being sent back to take out this high schooler in London who comes from a prestigious family. However she’s intrigued by him and his friend group and takes her time to study them and get to know them. She’s hiding her true identity from them.

Lorcan, Dino and Jude all have these different twists to their personalities that make them likable in their own ways. They have their own intenseness and appeal. None of them are resistible.

I like the bare minimum I got from the blurb because I constantly was wonder ooohhh is this turning into a bloody RH, yes please! I love the set up this book is giving for the rest of the series. I’m super drawn into the characters and this mystery element going on about what it is they do and they’re always hush hush about.

I’m already deeply invested and want more right away. Viola/Victoria and her boys have me wanting more brown

An interesting start to this serial killer bully RH series. I'm more interested in Viola owning the boys. The plot is mysterious but I'm getting into it.

So I read the novella for Violent Tendencies, and I was a first time Mallory Fox reader. Since reading this full length book, I am definitely diving into her backlist.

As I said before, I love Viola! Not only is she a strong FMC, she's a hired assassin with a thirst for blood and justice. She is given a target and goes undercover. Once she starts her job, she starts to discover that it's more than just the murder of an elite girl. Lorcan and Viola have tension, even if she is trying to keep him at arm's length.

I love this version. It is a slow burn, with a couple of steamy scenes, but the tension is off the charts! We get to see more into the lives of the characters. TI could not put this book down. It is so twisted and there is action, mystery, secrets and lies.

You have no idea how excited I was when I found out that we were going to get more Viola! This book only scratches the surface as to what is to come. I cannot wait to dive deeper into this world. I thought this was going to be a single standalone, but to turn it into a series, SIGN ME UP, I am here for it! I am so ready for A Legacy of Sorrow!

This book is crack! I read it in less than 24hrs and its 5

Based on the title alone you should know there are going to be trigger warnings but check them before you read! I personally have very few so I definitely enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one! It has a really good plot that's left me wanting to know what happens next! It's not filled with spice but it has a few scenes I have a feeling book two will definitely have more! It is definitely a dark and twisted story and not for everyone but I was definitely here for it!

4.5 bloody stars! Viola is a fighter. She is strong and brutal. Her story is challenging to read, but overcoming those challenges makes the outcomes so much better! I can't wait for the full length story to watch how one job forces Viola to question things and makes her grow. She is still damaged, she still needs to kill, but her motivations are changing. This story is better than the novella, but still leaves you wanting more. It seems to just be getting SO GOOD, then...The End..GAH!
