Really stunning prose, moving storyline and great characters -just lacked a certain magic for the 5 but I loved it! Some parts a tad cringey also.

It’s not perfect by any means (there’s some unconvincing dialogue and the characters seem like video game avatars at times), but it’s a warm hearted romp that had enough good writing to sweep me through effortlessly to the end.

It’s definitely a story where things have to build up. It took a while for me to get into but it was okay. The ending gave what it needed to give. The characters are all kind of intertwined in some way. I hate the going back and forth though
