This was an intense reading experience. I had to put it down midway through because it was giving me anxiety. That being said, if you can get through the anxiety it’s a fascinating book in conversation with itself, society, and with you, the reader. It’s worth reading, and I’m sure I missed a lot of nuance on my first read through.

Pfff I wonder how many men have or will ever read this.
The book is brilliant, the way is constructed, the different angles for the story, the narratives, the play with how people actually act through the internet or social media.
The book is great, and because is good is also so infuriating.
Is enraging to think that is bullshit the “not all men” crap bc it is and it will always be all men, even the good ones, even the ones that think they are feminist, and sometimes those are the most dangerous, but the fact that it will be all men is because they are so reluctant to break up the patriarchal pact, to sacrifice their privilege to question their entitlement.
Anyways, great book, such horrific reality.

I couldn’t get past the main characters inner monologue. I realize now that’s the point of the book, but sadly I know too many men who think like this, and I couldn’t read any more.
