Nope, couldn't do it anymore. Cole, the male character speaks as if he understands how difficult it is to be a woman with all the internal and societal pressures put on us, as well as all the crime against women, and that was enough for me to nearly throw the book out the window. It got too annoying so dnf.

I'm not sure if the resolution muddled the whole point of the book - the interesting thing is, the book asks this question too, and there is no one answer to this. Definitely a fascinating book structure, with 3 very different parts. And looking at the subject matter from various standpoints, all of which feel realistic to the situation.
