Yea DNF …. The back and forth timeline and didnt care for the characters curiosity kept me reading to the half way point then said not for me.

Unfortunately, this book just wasn't for me this time around. I felt like it was a bit repetitive at times. I still appreciate the author for providing an ARC copy to read and review. I can also understand why some readers will devour this dark mafia romance with a mysterious biker.

So I didn’t finish this book. I stopped at 76%. I just wasn’t feeling it. I love dark stalker romance books but I just wasn’t vibing with this one. I’ll probably try to go back and finish it at some point.
This is was my first book by Rainelyn, but it definitely wont be my last. I would recommend checking your trigger warnings with this one, its a dark stalker, taboo/forbidden romance between foster siblings.
Its fast paced, has action some action and gore in it. At some points I did feel like it seemed more focused on the descriptive writing, but it was still enjoyable and in some parts for me, I think it made the tension that bit more gripping, where it needed to be. I really enjoyed Viper and Arcanes story, when I say Viper is obsessed, my mans is obsessed!! Although I definitely would have loved to see a bit more from his POV. I liked Arcane, I like how she went from seeming timid and following orders to fighting back against those who betrayed her. Both of them are broken in their own way but they fit together perfectly <3 If your looking for a quick little stalker read, I would recommend giving this a try

Arcane and Viper's story was one of my favorites, mixing a great stalker romance with a journey of self-discovery and forbidden love. Arcane's growth from trying to fit into a corrupt, unaccepting family to realizing her worth with Viper by her side was so engaging.
Viper won me over from the start, and his constant support for Arcane, even when she thought he had betrayed her, was really touching. His nickname for her, "Devangel," was perfect for their complicated relationship. I do wish the book was longer, but I loved every bit of it and totally recommend "Monstrous Grave" to anyone who loves an intense, gripping romance.

To start, I enjoyed in the earlier years, the sexual tension between Arcane and Kaiden. I just absolutely melt when he calls her “little sister”
