Great advice in here! A lot of things I didnt think about. Not a "gripping" read so I had to force myself though some parts but over all a decent book.

I feel personally attacked by this book.  However, it was an easy read, set up in a way to reference quickly, and helped with some serious self reflection.

All women, regardless of age or career, can benefit from reading this book (or listening to the audio version). A friend recommended it to me, and I passed the recommendation on to two other friends. It's not exactly mind blowing information, but it's consolidated in an efficient and meaningful way.

Inspiring, actionable, incredibly relatable - I lost count of the times where I read an example and thought “shoot that’s me.”

The 12 Habits:

1. Reluctance to claim your achievements
2. Expecting others to spontaneously notice and reward your contributions
3. Overvaluing expertise
4. Building rather than leveraging relationships
5. Failing to enlist allies from day one
6. Putting your job before your career
7. The perfection trap
8. The disease to please
9. Minimizing
10. Too much
11. Ruminating
12. Letting your radar distract you

Really good way to get to the crux of some professional challenges as a woman in the workplace. While issues related to racism are brought up, they aren't integrated into the whole book and aspects of privilege aren't adequately addressed but still easy to get a lot of good stuff out of this easy read. Really resonated.

Fantastic book for women in business. Really well written and appreciated the tools mentioned to help with some of the habits discussed.
