The reading pace is slowed down so much on these books, for the sole purpose that I want them to last forever. Or hopefully until he finished the series.
I cannot state how much more I love this universe and its characters! What I absolutely adore with this series is how Martin writes his conversations. Even the ones about politics, that usually can be very tiring, are so intriguing that I just want more of it.
What has been the most fun has been to get to know characters better in this book. Catelyn Stark is a character I feel so much for, poor woman. Brienne, what a warrior! And now Jaime is finally becoming more of a person and not just an asshole.
Sansa is slowly learning to play this game, even if she is still being used and tossed around like a doll. Arya, the fierce little warrior who still is surviving. Even Sam, how on earth he is still alive is to me one of the funniest thing about this book, but I really enjoy that we have one character that is as far away as a hero as you can get. Yet he does rise as one, in his own way. And Davos. Davos for president!
No shocker to anyone, that I'm rearranging my planned TBR for the next few months to fit Part II: Blood and Gold in♥️

Cea mai lunga din serie, de pana acum. Este mai captivanta decat anterioara, pentru ca actiunea incepe se atinga cote din ce in ce mai mari, dezvaluirile si tradarile devin, mai ales spre sfarsitul cartii, din ce in ce mai uluitoare.

A fama da saga fala por si e não tenho melhor review neste momento pra dar que expresse mais do que esta frase : gostei tanto que, enquanto escrevo estas palavras, já tenho "A Glória dos Traidores" aberta à minha frente na primeira página.

Better than A Clash of Kings, not quite as good as the first book. Things are certainly getting bigger and more epic, though - a book with more characters and plotlines than this will be quite hard to find, I imagine.
