This is the best from Jeneva Rose yet! It’s nothing crazy but a great vibes read. I love how her writing has evolved and reminds me more of true crime tv vibes. I eat this up and enjoyed every second! Would recommend.

I always enjoy a book where an asshole gets his! I loved how the book ended, even if I predicted many of the twists throughout the book. I still love Sarah Morgan, even if she is quite morally grey, or maybe because of it. Bill got everything he deserved and more. I’m glad that Sarah’s daughter came out mostly unharmed as well.

Overall, an enjoyable journey if a bit predictable. I wish the author had left out some of the romantic elements, though I guess they did end up serving the plot.

Full-cast audiobooks are my favorite, and they all knocked it out of the park!

What a strong sequel! Dare I say better than the first? The twists and turns were masterful. Jeneva Rose definitely one of the greats!

I loved The Perfect Marriage and I loved the sequel The Perfect Divorce. Sure, some of it is unbelievable but it’s fiction and it’s what makes it a fun fast paced psychological thriller! I don’t know how Jeneva Rose even thinks of these characters and storylines! I love her twists and I can’t wait to read book three!

4 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Perfect Divorce is that rare sequel that totally outshines the original. This was 10x better: clever, sharp, and so well-planned. The characters, POVs, and plot twists were all chef’s kiss. Knowing the cast from book one left room for some satisfying reveals. Just when I thought I had it figured out, the truth unfolded in a way that still surprised me—without ever feeling forced. The full cast narration on audio made it even better. I couldn’t stop listening. Jeneva Rose truly nailed it with this one

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Definitely Recommend!!

Jeneva Rose does it again! Another page burner firing on all cylinders!

My favorite part of reading Jeneva’s books is that even when I know I’m right and I have it figured out, I’m wrong

Loved this sequel and the way it tied into the first book!

I think there was plenty of detail and I’m excited to see what’s next, if there is a next?! 😱😉

I’ll go over more specifics in the spoiler section below, but if you like my content:

ONWARD TO THE SPOILERS!!!

There are SEVERAL characters that I have a LOT more questions about! And these loose ends  are probably the ONLY reason I didn’t give the book 5 ⭐️

Scott Summers
You can’t just show up, murder a dude, and not be mentioned anymore!!?!

Was it even him? We never got verification! What’s he doing back? Where has he been? Why did he come back?!? So many questions!!!

Stacy Howard
There’s ZERO chance this chick lives. Sarah is going to kill her at some point right?!? That must be the next book? I feel like her ending just kinda faded into nothingness.

Anne
IMO Anne has SO MUCH POTENTIAL as a character. We’ve been taught to love Anne over the last two books, but she’s got a dark secret and I need us to explore that!!

3.75/5 stars rounded up.

I read The Perfect Marriage a few years ago and loved that book. While I thought this one was still enjoyable, I also felt that it was unnecessary and wasn't as good as the first one. I honestly didn't feel like The Perfect Marriage needed a sequel but I'm also not mad to have gotten one.

This is pretty fast-paced and action-packed from the start with a strong FMC. The story was incredibly exaggerated and was extremely far-fetched yet it was entertaining. Sarah, the main character, almost feels like Amy from Gone Girl. At least it feels like Amy could've been the inspiration.

While Sarah isn't exactly "likable" she's also the only character that I did enjoy in this and I constantly find myself cheering her on. If you can look past the outlandish plot of this book, it is an enjoyable read. If you're looking for something more realistic and believable, this is definitely not the book for you.

If you grab the audiobook for this story, the narrator did a fantastic job. I would really love to listen to this story while reading along in the physical copy once this book releases.

Thank you to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for the ALC. All opinions are my own.
