Dinosaurs!!! Much like Storm, I also missed Milo in this book and am expecting big things from his return in the next installment!

Okay onto more serious things - I find it really interesting that we actually see more of their society but seem to learn less about it than we do in the first book. That said, I did really enjoy the first half, and getting see more about their desperation to kill off the dinosaurs and their indifference to the people getting sick.

But again, the time in Piloria was where it’s at! I loved the new and terrifying giant dinos (and omg those acid ones! 😬) Piloria is supposed to be more everything - vibrant, scary, quieter, full of nature. And this comes across in the book, I totally flew though the second half, and loved every page.

All in a great read! I still super love dinosaurs, and I can’t wait for the next book. 4.5 stars.

Another fabulous instalment of this trilogy. I thoroughly enjoyed the second book and have already started reading the third one as I am desperate to find out what the books have in store for Storm and Lincoln.
This story is another fast paced and suspenseful journey onto the dinosaur continent of Piloria. Storm and Lincoln head back to the continent in order to complete a task set by the stipulators. Again there are inner turmoils for our main character Storm, when we last left them she had taken on the family of Lincoln and Rune and was still enraged by Lincoln's actions at the end of the last book. Will she forgive him in this one?
On the island there is more gritty action and life threatening scenes with the dinosaurs, new species are introduced even more terrifying than the last and the characters learn even more about the continent that the stipulators want to call home. One particular scene with some Dilophosauruses was particularly nail biting and reminded me a lot of Jurassic Park. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough!
We learn more about Storms heritage and other characters are described in more detail so I felt we were being given a better picture of why Earthasia was the way it was and what the plans were to remedy things. Reban is an interesting character and I look forward to seeing his character emerge further in the third book.
An overall great read that, if you are like me, you won't be able to put down and will inhale in one night!
