DAMMIT! This was such a good book. I love Tig & I've followed her career over the years since her "hell year". She is an amazing comedian and I'm so glad I got the audiobook -- however I need this book in print ASAP because there are definitely sections I want to read and re-read and highlight and share with friends. She's definitely an inspiration.

Gorgeous and funny and horribly sad. We could all use a little Tig, her book is unputdownable.

I feel like I have been consuming all things Tig the last few months (documentary, memoir, One Mississippi). This was a well written memoir that covered her 2012, a year she had c-diff (extreme case!!), lost her mother and was diagnosed with breast cancer -then attempted to harvest her eggs to have a child at risk of her own health. She dove into her past, her 8th grade education and the complex relationship she had with her mother and her step-dad and figuring out what that relationship was after she left. Plus, I loved the title. Thanks Tig for being open, honest and sharing your story - with your deadpan wit.
