Well, that's unfortunate. Usually I catch reviews for books that are being slated heavily for racism, antisemitism, &c. but I put this on hold a looooong time ago and went straight into reading it when it came in at the library.
I don't think this book is irredeemably bad, which is so frustrating because choices were Made. It's a definite reminder as a white writer how a good concept can get bogged down by our own lack of awareness.

Honestly wrapped in miscommunication tropes and a fun little mystery, I actually really enjoyed this book. It feels like the first one I was able to truly dive into for like a week. But uhm. Hell yes. Read this.

This was cute for a vampire novel. Also a little heavy handed on the white supremacy angle but someone should have said that about vampire lit before now to be honest.
