I see why lots of people love this one!

I didn't like the first half it was very slow and boring but after that it really got crazy and I was turning pages one after another.

I just couldn't get into it. I'm planning on seeing the movie though.

It was intriguing, the he said/she said back-and forth perspectives. I stuck with it just to see what happened--I credit the author for successfully building suspense. But the faults, in my opinion, were many--the writing seemed schmaltzy, precocious and self-conscious. The characters were wholly unlikable--all of them. And most of the plot was so overwrought and implausible that by the end I was thinking, "yeah, right...enough already." I just wanted it to end--and it did, and the end was as mortifying as I had expected.

I think I am one of the few people that did not enjoy reading this book.
I read a lot of good thoughts and reviews about it but I just couldn't enjoy it and 'be' in the story.
