Absolutely a 5 star read! I laughed out loud so many times! The spice was perfect. The plot was wonderful. It was like if a Hallmark movie actually got down & dirty, mixed with the funniest movie you've ever watched. If this author writes a million books, I'll read them all!! Tis the season! Look, I kept seeing this book pop up over and over and over again on TikTok everytime I searched for any of the tropes I liked. I was not going to read it. I didn’t think I was going to love it. But slowly Karissa broke me down and I said fuck it. And oh my god, I can’t believe I wasn’t going to read this book! I loved it. I loved it so much. I loved our two characters. I love their story of falling in love. Frankie really is the ultimate book boyfriend. He was so charismatic. I also loved Ophelia she matched energies, committed to bits, and overall was a stunning main female character. I also liked that we were the same age and have a lot of similar qualities. It’s giving hopecore. Anyways, I think everyone should read this book now. Especially for smutmas. But the smut was giving. Karissa def said let’s go for spicy spicy scenes and I loved them.
Man do I love Frankie and Ophelia! What started out as lust quickly turned serious for them. You could see they were both working through issues from their past but once they got together things were good. I really loved that there was no third act break up. Mateo and Natalia were hilarious and I look forward to reading their book. The spice was excellent and very well done. Frankie's dirty talk was so hot.

3.5 rounded up. The slowessstttt burn, but steamy once they finally got to it. Could’ve been 50-100 pages shorter but a good smutty Xmas rom-com.
This book took me by complete surprise!!! For the type of book it is, I’d rank it as 5 stars. If you’re looking for great spice and engaging banter this book is for you. Very light read and totally worth it. GREAT holiday read!!! Wonderful spice. This one might be one I reread during the holidays.
