If I could rate Christmas in Coconut Creek higher than five stars, I would! This is top tier contemporary romance right here.
Ophelia and Frankie are perfection together, and their love story had me hooked from the very beginning. It was a slow burn in some ways, but the chemistry was undeniable from the start! I giggled, swooned, and got a little teary eyed over these two.
And Frankie? Goodness gracious, I’d like to claim him as my fictional boyfriend.

Unfortunately this just wasn’t for me. Frankie and Ophelia were cute. But literally had nothing in common but enjoying sex. Frankie didn’t even get to meet Ophelia’s family.
I went looking for a new holiday romance this past season & boy did Karissa Kinword deliver one. Christmas in Coconut Creek is funny, spicy & just an overall good time. Ophelia & Frankie have the most adorable meet-cute from the moment they met, I knew this story was going to be something unique.

The incredible witty banter between these two highlights their increasing tension & off the charts chemistry. I could not get enough of them. Frankie in particular is such a wonderful MMC - he's honest, straight forward & there is this first date scene that will have you swooning.
This is a SUPER spicy book that is such a fun ride. The found family aspect from our MCs besties, Mateo & Tally, brings such a fun dynamic & aids in Ophelia's & Frankie's individual growth. This story is very much focused on Frankie's background & fell short a little on Ophelia's but that didn't take away from understanding where they both came from & their developing feelings for each other.
This is the start of a series & I am so excited to see where it goes because I really fell in love with these characters & so excited to revisit them in the future.
