Ophelia (26) and Frankie (35)
Friends with benefits, forced proximity, retired fighter pilot/teacher, Christmas, age gap
Lowkey hate both of their names. And the nicknames for her were so bad too- O and phee?
Loving this right off the bat because they had Such a good meet cute!
I kind of hate her best friend because for the first half (or so) she’s really only thinking of herself and/or her boyfriend and never thinks of Ophelia or spending time with her. I mean, it obviously worked out ok but it was a dick move.
Frankie is so awesome but I do think he needed to apologize for unmatching her. He gave her a little explanation but she had big hurt feelings and he didn’t do much to heal those.
I absolutely cannot wait to read the rest of this series. I’m in love with all the Delta guys.
This was pretty long but really good. Worth the read. It did end a little abruptly, but the story felt finished so that’s OK. Plus there was an epilogue.
This book was a tease! There were about 50 times you think they’re going to have sex but then they don’t! There ends up being 5 spicy scenes. 🍑👈🏻, 2🔥

This book was recommended by several people, and it did not disappoint. I miss Ophelia and Frankie already! Thankfully there will be more books in this series so I will get to visit them again.

I do think it could have been edited down a bit, but that's just me being picky. I loved the emotional depth we got from both Frankie and Ophelia as the story progressed, and their undeniable chemistry and playful banter provided a perfect balance to the internal thoughts and emotions they struggled to come to terms with regarding their unexpected feelings for each other.

Tally and Mateo were great supporting characters, and I enjoyed the strong friendships and chosen family dynamic as they spent the holidays together.

If you're looking for a fun and spicy Christmasy romance that will put a smile on your face, this is the one! And I dare you not to fall in love with Frankie.
