lol. Never would I ever have thought someone would name a book and have the book take place in a city I am familiar with in the state I am from aka Florida. Yes, CC is a real place. We don’t have a Piggly Wiggly - we have Publix. We don’t have Butterflyland , it’s called Butterly World and isn’t open late at night.

This has been on my tbr since last year and I was DETERMINED to get to it since I had so many friends recommend it to me. Unfortunately, I don’t think this one is for me. I thought the meet cute and the banter were REALLY fun but the constant pushing for casual intimacy/finding a one night stand from both friends to the MCs began to bother me. Also, I don’t generally mind cursing and crude language in books but this felt so excessive.

Overall, I just felt like the vibes of this was immature kids in adult bodies and ultimately this was heading in a direction that I didn’t want to follow.
