The beginning is kind of slow but the ending really carried and is very loosely based off a true story.

I had no idea when reading this one that it was loosely based on the true story of the abduction of Keri Swenson but it makes the story even more chilling. The short chapters prove to be a quick read. I would read more by this author.

This was seriously terrifying and knowing it’s loosely based on a true story made it even worse. This one had me on edge the whole time between the abduction, fear, hopeful moments and then those crushing letdowns. It’s super intense and gave me so much anxiety, but I couldn’t stop reading. Horrifying and entertaining at the same time.
