Listen here, I loved this book, but I understand that it's not really saying much because I really do love almost everything Charles brings to the table. I think her writing is consistently engaging and witty and she never writes down to her audience.
I really didn't see the twist coming from this one and that is something that doesn't happen to me often.
The only thing I will say is: the day that Charles writes a paranormal romance is the day my life will be over because, honestly, it will be peak.
Like imagine anything this woman has written but there is just a hint of magic or a vampire. It would kill me and I would die very, very happy.

Any way, another great one, good soup as always.

I loved this one! I love John and Barnaby, I adore uncle Abel (may I have him every Christmas, please?) and cousin Ivy, and yes, even Dombey.

The story is wonderfully told, funny and suspenseful, and with the always perfectly depicted historical atmosphere that KJ Charles has gotten us used to.

And the romance worked really well, with an apparently insurmountable obstacle that was swiftly and efficiently dealt with :P
I mean, who wouldn't trust in an angry angora rabbit? *dies laughing*

Wonderful, lovely and very entertaining. Your usual KJ Charles's book.

Crozier my love --

I didn't read the synopsis for this one ahead of time I just saw KJ's name and hit 'buy' so I wasn't sure what it was about, or how much it was a continuation of the Lilywhite Boys series. It is both very much a sequel (hooray!) and also tells a very good, brand new story of two new characters, and honestly packs a LOT in for the tiny wordcount, it does a lot and all of it is good.

It is very fun! The MCs are likeable and sexy! The set-up is great and the scheming and the payoff all enjoyable, it is just a delicious Christmas snack.
